Dr. Villamar is an excellent professional in the field of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of Valencia in 1992, and obtained his specialist degree in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation from Hospital La Fe of Valencia in 1998. He holds a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) in the area of Surgery (2002); as well as the European Diploma in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (EDAIC) (2017). Dr. Villamar has extensive experience in the field of anesthesiology and resuscitation, with more than 23 years working as an Assistant Physician specializing in Anesthesiology at the Hospital de La Ribera. He has also worked in multiple centers related to reconstructive surgery and traumatology (Centro de Rehabilitación de Levante, 2004-2005; Clínica el Consuelo 2005-2008) as well as an anesthesiologist in private practice of aesthetic surgery (Quirón, Imed and 9 de octubre from 2005 to 2022). He also has experience as anesthesiologist in Cardiac Surgery (Levante Clinic, Benidorm 2013), and has participated in the Hip Fracture Guideline Committee of the Hospital de La Ribera 2013. He also has experience as an anesthesiologist in humanitarian missions, both collaborating with the Cavadas Foundation in Marsabit. Kenya, 2008; as with the NED Foundation in Pemba.
